Julie Laurendeau

Member of l’Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec since 2005, Julie has more than 17 years of clinic experience. Over the years, she has worked in various settings. In order to offer the best possible services to her clients, Julie continues to improve her techniques and knowledge of Chinese medicine through many high level training.  In 2019, she also participated in a humanitarian mission as an acupuncturist in Madagascar with the organization Worldwide Healthcare Initiative and HUMANITY MEDICAL MISSION. 

 

As a dedicated practitioner in Esthetic Acupuncture, Julie joins the team at Aurora Chinese Medicine to offer her service -  Acupuncture Lifting, a revolutionary method that offers an effective and natural facelift without surgical procedure. This method is also recognized for its effect on boosting the production of collagen.

 

With years of experience, Julie is able to treat effectively a large number of conditions including pain and inflammation, anxiety, depression, insomnia, seasonal allergies, etc. and she has developed a particular interest in the field of women's health. Julie completed a 6-month internship in obstetric acupuncture at Lasalle Hospital to assist pregnant women through their pregnancy and childbirth. At the clinic, she works with women who face fertility challenges and hormonal problems.

 

Since the start of the pandemic, Julie has also worked at the frontline to help vaccinate the population against COVID-19.
